The Marshall Davis Vineyard is located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of the Willamette Valley. With 15+ plantable acres, all with gentle south facing slopes and the regions famous Willakenzie soil, we are excited about the sites potential for producing some of the area finest wine grapes. The first 3 acres were planted in early 2013. This part of the vineyard is all Pinot Noir and features the clones of Mariafeld and #114. These vines have had two great years of growth and our plan is to leave a small amount of fruit on them for the 2015 vintage. Right now we are estimating that this will be in the range of one to one and half tons and giving us our first Estate Grown fruit. The next 3 acre section was planted in the spring of 2014 and includes Dijon cloned Chardonnay as well as Pinot Noir with the Pommard clone. For 2015, we plan to add an additional acre plus of Pinot Noir using the 777 clone.
